DESCRIPTION

• Volunteers are needed to support certain domestic congregations that lack specific types of workers during their ESSCs.

• Prospective 2025 domestic ministry trips are as follows:

  • 4/24/2025-4/27/2025: Boston Church ESSC (interpretation, RE teaching)

  • 6/6/2025-6/8/2025: Tampa Church ESSC (interpretation, RE teaching)

  • 7/31/2025–8/3/2025: Denver Meeting Place ESSC (interpretation, RE teaching)

  • 9/25/2025-9/28/2025: Boston Church ESSC (interpretation, RE teaching)

  • 12/5/2025-12/7/2025: Tampa Church ESSC (interpretation, RE teaching)

REQUIREMENTS

• Baptized in TJC for at least 3 years. Has received the Holy Spirit. Has finished at least 2 years of NYTS curriculum. Endorsed by local church council.

• Function-specific:

  • Interpretation: strong English-to-Chinese interpretation skills

  • RE teaching: certified RE teacher

• For more extensive support, completion of NYTS and PMVP may be required or highly encouraged.

COMMITMENTS

• Duration of the ESSC (lodging will be arranged by the hosting church)

REIMBURSEMENTS

• USGA will reimburse transportation costs to and from the assignment for USGA-assigned volunteers.
